An abbreviated version of a full portrait session, perfect for updating seasonal portraits or professional headshots.
You will receive a digital gallery of 15 high resolution images. Sessions last approximately 20 minutes at one pre-determined location.
Please note that mini sessions are exclusively offered on select dates & times to be announced on Instagram.

FAQ
How do I book a session with you?
Booking is super simple! Just fill out the booking form on my website with the type of session and date you're hoping to schedule for, and I will get back to you. I'll forward a proposal for the session or event via email. The proposal contains a contract for your session and an invoice. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session. Your session date is not reserved until the retainer has been paid.
Where are you located and do you travel?
I am based in Windham, Maine, and yes, I love to travel! Sessions outside the greater Portland area may incur mileage or travel fees. I will travel for elopements or other events as I'm able to! I work full time as a nurse during the week, and have a zoo at home, but can absolutely accommodate travel plans if coordinating in advance.
Can I choose the location?
I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing personalized photos. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. I do have a list of my favorite places as well if you need some inspiration or are looking for suggestions.
How long does a typical session last?
The duration of a photo session varies. Portrait sessions typically range 20-60 minutes depending on whether we have a mini or full session planned, while events and weddings can span several hours.
How long will it take to receive our online gallery?
My turnaround time for portrait sessions is typically 2-3 weeks, while weddings are 4-6 weeks. This time can vary, but I prioritize creating a beautiful, cohesive gallery over rushing through batch editing. I often times am able to send galleries out even sooner than predicted, and can also discuss expedited editing fees if needing to meet a short notice deadline.
What if the weather looks bad for our scheduled session?
Maine weather is super unpredictable. The old saying "if you wait 15 minutes, the weather will change," holds so true. I will be in touch at least 24 hours ahead of your session to reschedule if the forecast is predicting unsafe or uncomfortable conditions for both indoor and outdoor sessions. I will be in touch as soon as possible for any surprise weather conditions to discuss rescheduling. I will not reschedule for simply overcast days, however. It actually makes for better photos!
What should I wear?
You should feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear. You can never go wrong with seasonally appropriate layers and earthy neutral colors. Pops of color are always fun too! I can provide styling advice as needed and am creating a simple styling guide that should be finalized in Spring 2024!
